News blog overhaul

  • Rewrote all six existing news articles with newsworthy, active-voice headlines under 100 characters.
  • Added datelines, bylines, and source attribution to every news post to satisfy E-E-A-T guidelines.
  • Created a dedicated editorial author page: Jons Spot Editorial.
  • Added 301 redirects from the old how-to/question-style URLs to the new news-style URLs.

Schema markup

  • Created a reusable Liquid snippet that injects NewsArticle JSON-LD schema on every blog post.
  • Schema includes author, publisher, datePublished, dateModified, headline, image, and mainEntityOfPage.
