Quick answers about ordering custom apparel, blank wholesale garments, screen printing, embroidery, and DTF printing. For full details, see our How to Order and Rush Service pages.
Do you have minimum order quantities?
Most brands — including Gildan, Bella+Canvas, Comfort Colors, SanMar, ATC, and Canada Sportswear — have no minimum; order as few as 1 unit. A small number of suppliers require a minimum per style:
- Milltex Sportswear — 6 units per style
- Just Like Hero — 6 units per style
- Ecorite — 12 units per style
Any minimum is shown as a badge on the product page. Mix colours and sizes freely within a style to reach it. See the full breakdown on our How to Order page.
How long does decoration take?
Standard decoration turnaround is about a week from when your order is placed. Because we're in Toronto — a central shipping hub with most major supplier inventory warehoused locally — garments are typically pulled within hours to a day, then decoration and shipping follow.
Do you offer rush turnaround?
Yes. Three rush tiers are available, selected right in the product configurator under Need it faster?:
- 5-day rush — trimmed turnaround for jobs that can't wait the full week.
- 3-day rush — tight turnaround for confirmed, ready-to-go artwork.
- 1-day rush — emergency turnaround; artwork must be print-ready at order time.
Rush is a flat add-on applied once to the whole order, not per piece. For large jobs or very tight timelines, contact us first to confirm availability. Full details on our Rush Service page.
How does artwork work?
You upload your artwork file directly on the product page when you configure decoration. Before you check out, you'll review a digital mockup so you can confirm placement and appearance. For 1-day rush orders, files must be print-ready at the time you place the order.
How do I place an order?
Browse by category or brand, choose a product, pick your colour and size, and decide whether you want it plain or decorated. Most products use a standard quantity picker; select styles use a Build-a-Roster grid for team orders. Full step-by-step instructions are on our How to Order page. Still have questions? Which brands have minimum order quantities?
Most brands on jons.spot have no minimum order quantity — we'll make a single custom piece if that's what you need.
A handful of brands have supplier-side minimums, enforced automatically at checkout and shown on each product page:
- Milltex Sportswear — 6 units per design
- Just Like Hero — 6 units per design
- Ecorite — 12 units per design
These are production-efficiency constraints from the supplier, not jons.spot policies. If you need fewer pieces than the listed minimum, get in touch — we can sometimes coordinate a small-batch run to honor a single-customer request.
Do you offer bulk or volume discounts?
Yes. Volume discounts are applied automatically at checkout — no coupon code needed. Your discount is based on the total number of items in your cart, so you can mix and match styles, colors, and sizes to reach the next tier.
- 3+ items — 3% off
- 6+ items — 5% off
- 12+ items — 8% off
- 24+ items — 12% off
- 36+ items — 15% off
- 48+ items — 20% off
- 72+ items — 23% off
- 108+ items — 25% off
- 144+ items — 30% off
- 288+ items — 35% off
- 500+ items — 40% off
The discount applies to the garment subtotal across most products on the store. Decoration and customization — embroidery, printing, digitizing, and personalization — are calculated separately and are not included in the volume discount.
How long does a custom order take?
Standard lead time is 7 business days from artwork approval. Rush options are available on the product page:
- 5 business days — +$25
- 3 business days — +$50
- 1 business day — +$100
Lead times start once your artwork files are received and approved.
What file formats do you accept for artwork?
We accept: AI, PSD, PDF, PNG, JPG, SVG, EPS, CDR, EAR, and ZIP bundles.
For best results, send vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) at the final print size. If you only have raster artwork, send the largest version available — we can usually clean it up.
Maximum file size is 25 MB per upload. After you place your order, you'll get a unique design ID; email your files to orders@jons.spot with the design ID in the subject line and we'll match them to your order.
Where do you ship?
Worldwide from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Shipping cost and delivery time depend on destination and package weight — calculated live at checkout.
We can also arrange on-site live activations across Ontario, Quebec, and coast-to-coast Canada for embroidery, printing, and laser engraving at your venue.
What's your returns and re-print policy?
Custom-printed apparel is made-to-order and can't be returned for buyer's remorse. If we made a mistake — wrong color, misprint, defective garment — we'll re-print at no charge. You must notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue.
Blank (undecorated) stock from brands like Gildan, BELLA + CANVAS, Next Level, etc. follows each supplier's standard return policy. We're happy to walk you through it before you order.
Do you do name & number personalization?
Yes — name and number personalization (heat-transferred to the back of the garment) is available on most products. Toggle it on the product page and enter the names and numbers; we'll lay them out before printing.
There's a one-time setup fee for digitizing your roster, but it's waived on orders of 24+ pieces.
Can I bring my own garments for decoration?
Yes — bring-your-own-garment (BYOG) is welcome. We'll screen print, embroider, or heat-press onto your blanks for the same per-piece price as our catalog.
BYOG pieces don't qualify for the per-brand catalog pricing. Get in touch with a description of what you're bringing and we'll quote it.
